TIVOLI GreenCity

Development of an exemplary sustainable passive (and 30% zero-energy) neighborhood, with a mixed-use program of 271 apartments, 126 social housing apartments (rented out by the Brussels Region Housing Society through de Lakense Haard), two child day care centres for in total 62 children and a series of local shops and services. The project includes the construction of a series of slow traffic streets and sustainable mobility facilities, 5 semi-public parks conceived as biodiversity laboratoriums, innovating sustainable energy systems, an experimental greenhouse and will be certified BREEAM Communities ‘Outstanding’
